      Waste The 3Rs – Reduce, Reuse and Recycle
      The 3Rs are part of everyday business at Tim Hortons. We seek to offer our guests the opportunity to Reduce, Reuse and Recycle Tim Hortons packaging each time they visit one of our many restaurants.

      Since the first Tim Hortons opened in 1964, we have provided our guests with the opportunity to reduce packaging by using china when enjoying their food and beverage while dining in our restaurants. In 1985 we introduced our first reusable travel mug called the “Tim-Mug” to encourage our guests-on-the-go to avoid packaging. This led to the implementation of a 10-cent discount on all travel mug refills as a reward to our guests. ...
