Our Legacy
Established in 1958, The Michener Institute for Applied Health Sciences is Canada’s only post-secondary institution devoted exclusively to health sciences education. Michener has more than 85,000 graduates, who serve a vital role in the country’s health care sector by providing quality diagnostic and therapeutic services that directly impacts patient health. Graduates work in such fields as Medical Laboratory Science, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Radiation Therapy and Respiratory Therapy.
Michener is publicly funded by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care.
