  • Company Culture

The core of McMan’s culture operates under the guidance of 5 important values.  These values are not only reflective of how we treat our clientele, but also our staff and our communities.  Regardless if your job is a Youth Worker, a Program Manager or a Senior Accountant, these values permeate throughout the culture of our organization.  These values are:

      Respect

We acknowledge and consider each persons situation, thoughts and values

      Genuineness

We embrace honesty, sincerity, and remain judgment free

        ...

  • Work/Life Balance

      Vacation Time

McMan provides employees the opportunity to work in environments that are extremely rewarding and challenging, and we recognize how important it is to enjoy some well earned time off.  Full time employees begin with 3 weeks of paid vacation each year, which increases every 4 years to a maximum of 6 weeks.

      Personal Days

Being in the field that we are in, we fully understand how unpredictable life can be for a person.  To help our staff manage the rigors of everyday life, full time employees have access to 12 paid personal days off per year.  These days can be used for issues such as illness, child care issues, and family emergencies.  And for any unused personal days at year end, they are applied to a formula that converts them to vacation days.    ...

  • Competitive Benefits Package

      Benefits

We recognize the importance of a benefit plan that employees are able to access when necessary.  McMan has partnered with Great West Life to provide a plan that supports employees physical and mental health needs.  Access to the plan is granted on day one of employment for salaried staff who work 22 hours or more each week.  The plan includes Extended Healthcare, Vision Care, Dental Care, Short Term/Long Term Disability, Travel Insurance, and Life Insurance.

      Retirement Savings

McMan works in concert with Standard Life to provide a 100% employer funded pension fund, with a percentage of an employees pay being invested in fund mix that is selected by the employee.  Employees also have the option to contribute lump sum or percentage amounts to RRSP funds.     ...
