Training
In order to sustain a lasting environment for people, we provide training and professional development opportunities. Our Company has an in-house training program that is accredited by the Canadian Construction Association. We also hire many students and graduates for internship positions with the intent to grow them and build their career in construction. Our environment reflects a sense of belonging, accountability, responsibility, learning and growth.
Employee Ownership
We provide our team members with an opportunity to take ownership not only in their positions, but in the Company. Our unique employee share program is extended to all Bird Construction employees, including students and is made available to them upon their first day of work. It allows employees to contribute a capped percentage of their salaries on a monthly basis to purchasing units of the company which is then matched by the Company upto 5%.
